On the first day of Delaware’s 150th General Assembly, members of the Inland Bays Foundation met with Governor John Carney, DNREC Secretary Shawn Garvin, and Agriculture Secretary Michael Scuse to advocate for clean water legislation, more stringent monitoring of polluters in Sussex County and increased funding for cover crops. The meeting was informative and encouraging. This year promises to be an active one for the IBF. We hope many Sussex County residents will join us as we advocate for a cleaner and healthier county.
